When planning an event that requires a desserts and drinks component, there are a few variables to consider. The fine print is just below:
All Dae Frozen Treats will require a $900 deposit (plus tax) for any event bookings.
We’ll attend your event, bringing along the items that you request at time of booking. We require an arrival time 30 minutes prior to the start time, so that we can properly set up.
After serving your guests, we’ll generate an invoice if the number served exceeds the $900 deposit. The invoice will only address the difference between the amount served and the deposit amount.
If the event location is outside of central Ottawa, we’ll add a travel fee to the invoice, but it will all be visible and subject to your scrutiny before you book the event.
In either case, we’ll come equipped to serve more than the required minimum, in case your attendee count differs from expectations.
An important consideration for event planners- we can serve anywhere between 80 and 120 guests per hour, depending on the items being ordered. When planning the duration of your event, please keep this figure in mind.
Comparing these figures to many other food service operators, our service delivery rate is quite high. Even so, if you book us for two hours and hope to serve 300 or more guests, that formula doesn’t compute successfully. We’re committed to your satisfaction- if you plan accordingly, your guests will be thrilled!
